Saturday Soup is  where stories are shared, generations meet, memories resurface, and new traditions are born.

Every bowl of story, every moment of laughter or reflection is part of a bigger mission: preserving African-Caribbean heritage and strengthening community bonds through art, food, and storytelling.

When you support Saturday Soup, you help us:

Feed Culture

Your contribution keeps Black British stories alive  in voices, performances, and lived experience passed from elders to young people.

Build Community

Our gatherings reduce isolation, create intergenerational connection, and offer a warm, welcoming space for residents across South London to meet, talk, dance, and remember together.

Empower Creativity

Every donation supports artists, DJs, hosts, storytellers, designers, photographers, and community performers who make each Saturday Soup a work of living art.

Expand Access

Your support helps us offer free or low-cost community tickets so no one is turned away for financial reasons. You make it possible for people of all ages to participate  and belong.

Protect Heritage

Saturday Soup honours food traditions, music, migration, activism, resistance and joy. Supporting us helps preserve the stories of previous generation and ensures the next generation inherits cultural roots as strong as their ambitions.

How You Can Help

Whether you’re an individual, a family, a small business or a major corporate partner, your support has real impact.

Community Donors

From a Crock Bowl contribution to a full Heritage Dish, individual support helps fund supplies, catering, artist care and community access.

Corporate Sponsors

Our Plantain, Ackee, Jollof and Breadfruit tiers offer creative visibility, branding, storytelling opportunities and meaningful engagement with local communities.

Annual Legacy Partner

For organisations ready to invest in cultural continuity, our annual partnership funds the full Saturday Soup season — six events celebrating history, identity, resilience and joy.
